Pink Express Toyota Prius Fleet gets the All Clear

We are glad to confirm that none of the Toyota or Lexus cars currently used as part of the Pink Express Passenger Car fleet are affected by the recent issues concerning Toyota Cars.
The recent recall of Prius car by Toyota relates only to 3rd Generation vehicles built prior to January 27 2010. We have been assured by Toyota GB that none of our vehicles are affected by the potential fault. While Pink does have some 3rd generation vehicles that will soon join the fleet all of them were built outside of this timescale.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us on enquiries@pinkexpress.com. You can read the bulletin in full at www.toyota.co.uk

Pink Express and Help for Heroes

Through our motorcycle racing connections we have linked up with Centurion Racing to help support their fund raising efforts for Help for Heroes.

Centurion Racing principle Paul Rees is an ex military man and has been supporting the charity for the past few years. Pink have donated two sets of top quality racing suits from the stylish Arlen Ness range and hope to raise a considerable sum via an ebay online auction. Any motorcyclists out there who may be interested, please search ebay for ‘Help for Heroes Leathers’ to find these and link to a range of other items up for auction.

    Congratulations Raymondo & Cliff

Boy, are these guys fit! Both Raymondo & Cliff recently took part in the South Downs Challenge, an 80-miles Bicycle Sportive through some of the hilliest countryside in Southern England.

The event was in support of two local charities, BASICS (British Association for Immediate Care) and the Jubilee Sailing Trust, which provides adventure sailing holidays for disabled people and their carers.

Once again the Pink Express chaps did their bit for charity and both clocked very good times, with Cliff achieving a ‘Gold’ award and Raymondo a ‘Silver’ – although there were claims of some intentional ‘diesel spillages’ to slow Raymondo!
