Pink Express has been committed to the environmental issue long before our
competitors were aware. We were the first London courier to change over to a
low pollution fleet of LPG vans. We followed up in 2004 with the introduction
of cycle couriers for our international collection fleet and implemented a waste
and recycling policy for all our sites. 2005 saw the introduction of an energy
usage policy. In 2006 we introduced the use of hybrid cars to our passenger car
fleet. 2007 saw the launch of Pink Express Green Forum which is a cyberspace
where we can exchange ideas and initiatives with our clients, staff, suppliers
and green organisations. In 2008... well in keeping with our environmental policy
we’re looking to further improve our planning and performance. Where others
merely generate C02 over the issue, Pink takes action.
